Thoppil Joppan is a Malayalam comedy movie from the director Johny Antony. It is the fourth collaboration of Mammootty with Johny Antony. Previously, they worked together for ‘Thuruppugulan’, ‘Ee Pattanathil Bhootham’ and ‘Thappana , which were all a commercial success.In Thoppil Joppan, Mammootty will be seen as an alcoholic 'achayan'. He had played 'achayan' roles in his superhit films like ‘Kottayam Kunjachan’, ‘Nasrani’ and ‘Kizhakkan Pathrose.
